About bulk setup

The Learnable School Partnerships team is here to guide you through onboarding and setup. Whether it's a new year or your first time on Learnable, the onboarding process is designed to help you set up your classes in one go.

When you start with Learnable, you'll need to create your classes and invite students to these classes. You can do this manually by inviting a user, but for large-scale setup we recommend you use our bulk-add service.

Bulk-add service

To use the bulk-add service, you'll need to provide a spreadsheet containing your student / class lists. We'll be able to use this spreadsheet to: create your classes, invite your students, arrange your initial invoice.

โš ๏ธ If you already have classes on Learnable, bulk-add will also archive any classes not included in the bulk-add spreadsheet unless specified otherwise.

1. Creating your bulk-add spreadsheet

To create your bulk-add spreadsheet, you can download this template: Learnable Bulk-add Spreadsheet Template.xlsx or create your own spreadsheet which contains all necessary information. If creating your own spreadsheet, please ensure you provide the following information:

User role

First name

Last name

Email

Class name

Course

Teacher or Student

Any given names

Any family name(s)

institution email address

Class name or code

Course for each class

Please note the following:

  • If a student or teacher is a member of multiple classes, they must be listed for each class they are a member of.

  • Each unique class name listed in the provided spreadsheet will generate a new class on Learnable. Please ensure that a single class is only listed against one course.

2. Sending your bulk-add spreadsheet

Please email your bulk-add spreadsheet to [email protected] to get started. If submitting for a school, please submit all spreadsheets concurrently to prevent duplicate additions.
